Igtropin (IGF-1 lr3)
In bodybuilding, the term IGF-1 comes out a lot. Most anabolic androgenic steroids help to increase the levels of IGF-1. But what is IGF-1? IGF-1 is essentially a polypeptide hormone that shares some of the molecular properties as insulin. In fact, IGF basically stands for Insulin-like Growth Factor. In children the IGF-1 helps with the growth of long bone, while in adults, the IGF-1 helps with muscle growth and repairs. Long R3 IGF-1 (known as IGF-1 lr3) is a stronger version of IGF-1. It has been chemically enhanced to avert deactivation by IGF-1 binding proteins that can be found floating in the bloodstream. As a result, the IGF-1 lr3 has a longer half-life of between 20 to 30 hours instead of the regular 20 minutes.
What Does the Igtropin (IGF-1 lr3) do for Bodybuilders?
For starters, IGF-1 lr3 significantly boosts muscle mass by creating a state of muscle hyperplasia within the body, which means an increase in the number of new muscle cells, and this happens in the muscle where it is injected. This is why IGF-1 lr3 is so popular amongst bodybuilders. Imagine muscle cells just generating and expanding, from 1 becoming 2, this will help with rapid muscle gains. IGF-1 LR3 is considered to be better compared to human growth hormone, because while human growth hormone promotes the increase of IGF-1, it does so in the liver first, while IGF-1 lr3 on the other hand is increase localized in muscle cells.
As aforementioned earlier, the IGF-1 lr3 is a chemically enhanced version of IGF-1, which is longer acting and be able to stay active for up to 30 hours in the body. Not only is it able to help muscle cells grow into new muscle fibers, but it also helps the body to absorb nutrients from supplements and food we eat more effectively. The IGF-1 lr3 also helps to prevent muscle loss, and recover testicle size of steroid users, and because of this, bodybuilders would use it as a part of their post cycle therapy as well. It is also popular because it binds less to all IGF binding proteins that inhibits the biological actions of IGF-1 which causes it to not work as efficiently.
Other Benefits of Igtropin (IGF-1 lr3)
Overall, the IGF-1 lr3 helps to improve the overall effectiveness of an anabolic androgenic steroid cycle, as powerful and helpful it is alone, thanks to its unique property of being able to enhance growth in localized muscle cells. It is also reportedly to be able to help with fat loss as well as improve vascularity. For those who have shrunk their testicles from a cycle, it can be used to help regain its size. IGF-1 lr3 is also a good bridge between cycles to help maintain muscle gains and avoid catabolism. Using it during cycle and during post cycle therapy will be extremely beneficial. It also helps with forcing nutrients into muscle cells.
Side Effects of Igtropin (IGF-1 lr3)
Although it has plenty of benefits, the IGF-1 lr3 is not free of side effects. Having high levels of IGF-1 in the body might cause hypoglycaemia, but not as bad as insulin. Those who are diagnosed with cancer should stay away from it as it might increase the size of the tumour. Keep in mind that it does not cause cancer though. It is actually pretty well tolerated, and problems will not occur if taken properly, dosed properly
Usage and Dose for Igtropin (IGF-1 lr3)
IGF-1 lr3 comes in the form of lyophilized water. It should be reconstituted with either acetic acid as first choice, or sodium chloride for injection to reduce stings. Bacteriostatic water should not be use as it degrades the IGF-1 within 30 days. Use a fine gauge insulin syringe, and this will give you effortless injections. After mixed, it should be stored in cool and dry place.
The IGF-1 lr3 can be taken every day in a week, with dosage between 50 mcg to 150 mcg a day. However, keep in mind that desensitization will occur within 40 days of use, which is roughly about 4 weeks. Injection site however can be at any muscle group on the body. Injections can be done either intramuscularly or subcutaneously too.
