In Methyltrienolone is an orally applicable steroid which was developed in the sixties for use in animal and cell experiments. The synthesis was first described in 1963.

Methyltrienolone is often referred to as Methyltrenbolon, since it is structurally analogous to the steroid trenbolone, but has a methylene group more.
